Last week we drew the winners for the drawing we ran at Weddings the Bridal Show on Sunday, July 12, 2009. Since we have now made contact with all the winners by e-mail or phone, we are going to post them here.

Ashley L. of Nashville, TN won $100 off of her invitation package and has actually already ordered her invitations and approved the proofs!

Daryl F. of Nashville, TN won the complimentary Day of Event Coordination package. I have already spoken to her and we are very excited to be a part of this fun wedding which will take place in May of 2010!

Bethany W. of Murfreesboro, TN was drawn for the third prize of a feathered fascinator. However, since she had not marked an interest in feathered items on her entry form, we allowed her to substitute a 25% discount off of linen rentals since linen rentals are the only items she really still needs to complete her planning for her September 2009 wedding.

Since Bethany didn't take the fascinator, we decided to draw a couple more names to win fascinators. Jackie M. and Angela S. have been offered a free feathered fascinator customized to their styles.

We had a great time at the show and we are so pleased we were able to offer these great prizes. We had a great time at Weddings the Bridal Show at the Nashville Convention Center on Sunday! Check out the photos of our booth in case you didn't make it to the bridal show or missed us while you were there... Allison and I (Meropi) were both there to work the booth and had a great time meeting all the local brides and talking to them about their upcoming weddings! It was really neat to hear how brides are using their weddings to reflect their own personal style. There were some brides interested in a really traditional style while there were many others who were interested in our modern bouquets, bouts, and fascinators. There were people working to plan outdoor weddings, indoor weddings, traditional, modern, romantic, or fun themed weddings (one girl was planning a rock gothic style wedding) - what fun to hear everyones ideas!

Other than the fact that Allison got a huge blister on her foot, I would call it a total success! We were able to showcase a lot of our invitations on a board we created so that brides were able to see what we did and we were able to talk to several people about wedding planning, linen rentals, and modern bouquets.

We offered a prize drawing at a highboy table near the front of our booth with great prizes such as a Free Day of Event Coordination package, $100 off of any invitation package, and a customized fascinator that the bride could wear at her wedding, reception, or rehearsal dinner.
