About the Photographer...

• I enjoy lifestyle portraiture.
• I make house calls.
• I enjoy using both natural and studio lighting.
• I enjoy studio work and have a studio space, but I still sometimes believe that Mother Nature offers the best backdrops and lighting.
• I live near Spring Hill, TN on a 135 acre farm with my darling husband, Joe, and a menagerie of animals including a Quarter Horse (Dakota), a miniature horse (Rocky), some cows, sheep, a a flock of chickens, a pot bellied pig named Chops, a pomeranian named Bear, a shihtzu named Chanel (aka Fluffy), and some barn cats.
• I love the hour just before sunset when the lighting is perfect.
• I am very sentimental...my husband and I were marreid in October of 2005 in Heraklion, Crete, Greece (where my mother's family is from) in the same church where my mom and dad got married in 1973!
• One of the dearest pictures I own was taken before I was even thought of...It was taken of mom and dad at their wedding and I treasure it.
• To be invited in to capture the important moments of people's lives is a gift and an honor.
• I shoot portraits but I also LOVE weddings!  Once all the food is gone, cake is eaten, flower has wilted, and the honeymoon is over, what remains is the captured memories.  Someday these moments will not just be a simple story, but priceless family history.
