OK now we are down to our last post about Lindsey and Johnny's fun and fabulous wedding.  Here are some photos of some of the details of the wedding.  Pay attention to the first dance of Lindsey and Johnny - they actually danced to a song Johnny's dad wrote and his dad is in the background of the photos...how sweet!

The frame to the left is Lindsey's mom and dad watching their first dance.  Notice Johnny's dad in the background of the two center frames.  I am not sure if he even knew they were going to be dancing to a song he wrote.

Reception time fun - notice the bottom center picture - yes that is the groom.  He is a musician and performed at his own wedding to the delight of his guests!

The best man's toast was very emotional and heartfelt (check out Johnny in the background trying to hide his emotions).

This bride was not going to let her wedding or a giant dress slow her down  - fear not - it was one SPOTLESS 4 wheeler!  :)

I love, love, love it when a bride or groom are enough at ease on their wedding day to have a little fun.  In this line of work, I see so many brides and grooms who spend so much time stressing over every little detail on the day of the wedding that they don't even enjoy their own wedding day...and let's face it, it FLIES by.  I barely even remember details about my wedding without looking at the pictures and video.  I mean there is so much that leads up to the wedding day and the the week of the wedding is usually so hectic that by the end of the reception, most couples heads are spinning and what they really need is a nap :) 

One thing I really liked about Lindsey and Johnny's wedding was the fact that they both seemed so at ease and excited about joining their lives together.  They didn't seem stressed and worn out...just really, really happy... here are some funny (and some crazy) photos that came out of the photo session we did with the groomsmen prior to the wedding.  They were a really fun bunch!

Today I decided I would post some more photos from Lindsey and Johnny's wedding but I thought I would post some pictures of the bridal party.  This bridal party was so fun!  They were not scared to goof around and get some really fun pictures instead of just the standard issue wedding pictures you usually see...

Johnny looked so relaxed and happy right before the wedding...he was really wanting to see Lindsey but we managed to keep them apart!

I loved that this family was relaxed enough to cut loose and have a little fun!

As someone who is involved in wedding planning myself, one thing I am sure to do when I am photographing other weddings (which I was not involved in planning) is try to capture all the little details...after all, brides go crazy trying to plan all kinds of little details to tie the wedding together so it is a shame if all that hard work is not captured for generations :) 

This wedding was a great example of how the devil is in the details...Lindsey did a great job planning out the little details.

Love, love, love the Coca Cola Bottles and the BBQ sauce that is grandfather's recipe with his picture on the bottle - how cute!  Notice, too, that in lieu of flowers, they had gumballs in red with turquoise and white lollipops and also added a splash of color in the napkins.

They had these adorable frames with old pictures of their parents and grandparents hanging on the trees and then had us photograph the couples today in front of their framed images.

Just before Lindsey and Johnny's wedding, we got together with Lindsey to do some Bridal Portraits for her.  This girl was an absolute hoot!  I had not met Lindsey before the wedding day but she was cool as a cucumber and seemed ready to just get the show on the road :)  Well, I think a picture is worth a thousand words so I will let these speak...

I loved this great photo of Lindsey and her parents - they just look so happy for their daughter :)

The wedding was at Lindsey's parents' rural home and it was such a beautiful setting and perfect day weather-wise.
